Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1st 1977) is an American singer and comedian. Most notable is her time as a member on the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 1996 through 2002. In the years since, she has been a part of ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and film Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her acting career at Northwestern University. She initially was studying voice, but switched to theater when she got involved with an improv comedy troupe that was on campus. Sheila Shay from Suburgatory was one of the most controlling characters, like the character she plays in Lady Dynamite. Karen Grisham was the character played by Karen Grisham who had a eccentric persona. The whole thing has lead up to American Auto, the NBC comedy which gives Ana Gasteyer her long-awaited starring role. Anabell Gardoqui de la Reguera is a Mexican actress. She has starred in film telenovelas, including the HBO television show Eastbound & Down and Capadocia the Amazon TV series Goliath as well as the comedy Nacho Libre. Reguera was born in Veracruz. The mother of her child, Nena de la Reguera, was a Miss Veracruz who became a journalist and TV personality. Reguera took ballet lessons as well as began classes in performing arts in the Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
